2000 CANON: Dark red. Very aromatic and very intense nose of raspberries and blueberries. Elegant wine with lot of finesse and fine balance. Very seductive, attractive and tasty. Will keep nicely until 2020. 92p. Tasted in June 2007.

1982 CANON: Tasted in November 2014. Fine wine, keeping its ground very well, youthful and viril. Impressive. 94p.

1945 CANON: stunningly fine wine, very much alive and in perfect balance. Very truffy, sophisticated, lot of sweetness, complex and incredibly delightful. Simply awesome wine. 95p. Tasted in December 2013.

ATTENTION! I'm well in the process of tasting app. 290 2018s from Bordeaux sent to my Copenhagen home. 2018 vintage is now 100% bottled with very few exceptions, and it'll be incredibly fascinating to find out if the promises from tasting barrel samples can be confirmed. I'm pretty sure they will! A full report will follow at the beginning of February 2021, but I already have put some TNs and comments on my website. Check out chapter "2018 IN BOTTLE" in "VINTAGES".

2020 vintage in Bordeaux looks like it will follow the trend of excellent vintages like f.i. 2016 and 2018/9. We will know more during primeurs in late spring 2021.

TNs/ratings on 2019 Bordeaux barrel samples - see "Vintages" chapter. 325 samples were tasted during the summer of 2020 from classified/non-classified properties.
