This property is located in the hamlet of Clinet, near the local cemetery, and is separated from L'Eglise Clinet by a road, directly opposite it. The charismatic Hélène Garcin-Léveque owns the property, along with Barde Haut and Poesia in Saint-Émilion, and she manages all three with her husband, Patrice.

Clos L'Eglise's style closely resembles that of its neighbor, L'Eglise Clinet. The vineyard spans 5.90 hectares, with 80% of the vines planted with Merlot and 20% with Cabernet Franc. This area lies in the heart of Pomerol, within the renowned "Le Plateau Argileux." The soil consists of gravel and clay, with traces of "crasse de fer" in the subsoil, a yellow, brown, or blue clay mixed with iron oxide, which gives Pomerol wines a unique metallic and truffle-like flavor.

Clos'L'Eglise is definitely worth seeking out, and it won't break the bank!
